    Regular beer - Labatt Blue
    Light beer - Bud Light
Change of pace beer - Rolling Rock
Seasonal beer - Lienenkugel's Summer Shandy or Goose Island Summertime
    Ale's -Goose Island 312
Fruity Beer - Sam Adam's Cherry Wheat or Harpers Raspberry Wheat
    Lager - Moosehead Lager
    Stout - Guiness (of course).

I also have to give a shout out to the beer that started it all for me: Busch Light.

No Oberon? That's the best beer Bell's makes!

I like a lot of the usual suspects: Pilsner Urquell, Stella, Becks, Guiness, Sierra-Nevada and some of the not-so-usual suspects like Labatt 50 and Presidente.

But here's one I tried for the first time at a cookout on Saturday night and really, really enjoyed. In fact I liked it too much, according to my wife:

Flying Dog. It's brewed in Maryland now but apparently has Colorado roots. The "Doggie Style" ale won an award at the GABF and Ralph Steadman (you've seen his art on Hunter Thompson bookcovers) does the label and advertising creative.

Man, I love this stuff. Drank plenty of it in Cali a few years back and forgot all about it until I saw it in New York in the summer. Wish it was available here in Toronto.

    Some of my faves:

    Labatt Blue
    Keith's
    Carlsberg
    50 (hi JJ!)
    Creemore
    Sleeman's Dark
    Waterloo Dark
    Anchor Steam
    Molson Stock Ale
Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Chocolate Stout (mandatory for me on Christmas Day)
    Tiger (from Singapore)
Cobra (a beer from India I found in our local liquor store)

Any list that does not include Genny Cream and Utica Club is inherently flawed, mine included. Almost everyone I knew as a kid lost his/her beer virginity to the Green Death or a UC.

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale but, at near $8 a six-pack, not that often

Stroh's Lite is $15 for a 30-pack. If you drink the first three quickly enough, you don't really taste the next 27.

Do they let you finish the last one in the patrol car?

They sell beer from India in Brampton? What a surprise.

At our local liquor store Żywiec, a Polish beer, is apparently one of their top sellers.

I drink mostly Amsterdam Blond at the Goose but I'm partial to the Mill Street Organic.

Big fan of Molson Stock Ale but there are hardly any places that carry it and you can only buy it in two-fours at The Beer Store.

Had a nice Pilsener from the Stratford Brewing Company when HC & I were down there on the weekend.
