This completely calls for a Starch Madness cereal bracket.

No. 1 seeds: Corn Flakes, Cheerios, Lucky Charms and ??????

Someone have enough time to cook this one up?

The cinnamon and spice kind is by far my fave.

As for cold cereals, I love Raisin Bran Crunch, Honey Bunches of Oats, Rice Krispie Treats, Frosted Cheerios and Apple Spins (the knockoff Apple Jacks).

    Chocolate Lucky Charms ... mmm.

If the tournament comes to pass, look for an upstart run from Alpha-Bits.

My promise to you. Try it. You don't like it? PM me and I'll send you the cost of a dozen eggs and a box of Cheerios.
My kids used to react that same way until I made it for them. Now they ask me to fix it for them on every visit home. Rare things, those visits, but that's another deal.

Will there be a Starch Madness II (or I-A) for cereal toppings?
    Your divisions could be:
large fruit (bananas, peaches), small fruit (various berries), large non-fruit (like soft boiled eggs) and small non-fruit (like sugar)

Lucky Charms has always been my favorite, but I don't eat it because of the calories. I loved Cinnamon Toast Crunch until it sliced the roof of my mouth to bits.

Now I love Special K and Special K Fruit and Yogurt. Frosted Mini-Wheats too.

  9. I enjoyed Croonchy Stars during its short lifespan.

Favs-Cheerios & Grapenuts (original OR flakes). Yes Angola, they do have a texture of gravel. But the tast is awesome.

Bummers-Allbran. Disolves into hay before you can chew it. Flakes arent' too bad, though. Great fiber source if you need it (like I do).

Shredded Wheat (pour boiling water over it, drain, add milk and brown sugar)

    Shreddies.

    Corn Flakes

And, although it's not a cold cereal "Red River Cereal".

Looks like birdseed before you cook it, but yum, is it good.
