For a guilty pleasure, Cocoa Puffs. These are better than Cocoa Krispies and whatever the Post cereal is, Cocoa Pebbles. The round puffs gives the cereal some substance. to make the really good, what you do is you eat the Cocoa Puffs and then you have some of the milk left, which by then should have turned to chocolate milk. Then, you add some Cocoa Puffs and the second helping tastes even better than the first.

As for Grape Nuts, I eat them sometimes now in the interest of health. The best way to eat them is to put milk in them and heat them in the microwave for about 45 to 50 seconds. Then you add Splenda or Equal (after the microwave) and add bananas or another favorite fruit. That is pretty good.

Damn good call. I mix it up a little, but go with Ohs about 75 percent of the time. They're a little bit hard to find. The grocery store I used to go to didn't carry them, so I tried a new one that did. They only have one row, though, and they're pretty small, short boxes.

I'm a little afraid I'm the only one buying them and they'll disappear someday. That would be a sad day.

Otherwise I go with Golden Grahams, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, Apple Cinnamon Cheerios ... maybe Frosted Flakes. I haven't had Apple Jacks in a while, and they caught my eye on this thread, so maybe that'll be next for me. Honey Smacks are good too, and I don't see them mentioned. Pretty sugary, though. And they are sticky, so ya know, don't roll in them or anything ...

As for the milk at the bottom, it doesn't get better than Apple Jacks' milk. CTC milk is good, but Apple Jacks milk is the shit.

My favorite cereal is one I can't find in the NJ/Philly/NYC area anymore:

I used to love that, EStreet, though it was sharp and I'd cut my upper palate many mornings.

Last time I ate this cereal, it coincided with my getting violently ill and throwing up all over. Soft corn bran all over.

    I haven't eaten it since.

    Fruity Pebbles.

Must be voraciously consumed in the brief window, after you add milk, between shred your mouth hard to absolute mush.

    But delicious.

    Life.
Obviously something none of us have considering this thread has hit four pages :)

    Cracklin' Oat Bran
Crispix (Loved the country bumper stickers that were inside each box during the '84 Olympics...)
Cinnamon Toast Crunch (perhaps the best DQ blizzard I ever tasted was with CTC in it...)

And one that nobody has mentioned, and an excellent alternative to Grape Nuts...

    GRAPE NUTS FLAKES! ~ Awesome...

Oh, and I once tried the crunchy corn bran with sugar on top... the most putrid thing I have (almost) ever tasted... it smelled like burned fail...
