Speaking of - Went to BK the other day, and they had none of their new chicken, no Impossible Whoppers, no regular Whoppers, no onion rings. I had to settle for a double cheeseburger and fries, which is fine, but I probably won't be going to this particular location again until the overall supply chain is more recovered.

Had it once a few years ago. Nothing special.

    Same with Chick Fil-A.

Chipotle is OK. As noted, nothing special.

You could not be more wrong about Chick-Fil-A.

Chick-Fil-A’s food is really good, but to me their calling card is the customer service. I feel like I’m entering a cult’s place of worship when I eat there, everyone is reading off the same script.

I don't even know if it exists anymore but a Tex-Mex chain called Pancho's.
You would hoist the flag when you wanted more grub. Fun for the whole family.
The high school Latin Club (of which I was a member in good standing) 0nce met there.
I became a fan going forward.

    Buffalo Wild Wings
Chick-fil-A (it's unlikely that there is one on I-40 between Nashville and Wilmington that I haven't visited, and that's not an exaggeration.)

I feel like BWW is never great, but it's always good to very good. Plus, you know it's a "safe" place to watch a game with a mixed crowd of people, haha. Always plenty of TVs. When one opened in RI, it meant myself and a couple of buddies no longer had to go to this dive bar to watch NBA finals games, where the staff acted like it was a personal affront when we wanted the TV changed.

I've been served medium-rare wings on three occasions at BWW, so I have some issues with going there.

God, I can't believe I'm going to say this, but I like Arby's roast beef, even though I'm well aware that it's some sort of congealed thing other than roast beef shaved to make it look like it's roast beef. Will further the nomination of Chick-Fil-A. It's just freaking reliable.

Also, I can't remember if I ever posted this in the earlier parts of this thread, but for a decent, quick sit-down meal on the road, you can't go wrong with sitting at the bar at an Outback Steakhouse. I'm not talking about when you're in a big city with a lot of time on your hands. But if you're driving back from Blacksburg to Richmond and it's dinnertime and you want something better than wolfing down Chick-Fil-A in the vehicle, Outback hits. You can usually get in and out in 30 minutes or so and, hey, you can sit at a bar again so it's an option once again.
