A vanilla from the Tillamook creamery in Tillamook, Ore.

    Barring that, Steak n' Shake.

I believe, and I might be making this up, that I had a banana pudding milkshake while at Sonic in Tennessee three years ago. Whatever it was I had that night, that thing was incredible.

Culver's also has mint shakes all year round for the Shamrock Shake goodness.

Can't have a Frosty without dipping fries in it. Mmmmm.

@zebracoy: Banana Cream Pie shake from Sonic. Tasty. Even has bits of graham cracker crust.

My favorite, though, is my wife's chocolate banana shake. Perfection.

The Shamrock Shakes from my local McDonald's are pure green krap.

The last time I had one, I woke up in the middle of the night thinking my stomach had just exploded.

Crossthreading with Three Bags' visit to New York, I propose our local delicacy, the Egg Cream.

The thickest, best shakes today are at Jack in the Bob. BUT! I still prefer a malt over a plain shake. You just don't find malts much any more.

Forget it! I'm signing off. I can't even spell "meant". I'll try again later. Damn, it's tough getting old.

    Let's be careful out there.

    http://www.nytimes.com/aponline/world/AP-Hong-Kong-Milkshake-Murder.html

She drugged him using a milkshake laced with the ''date-rape drug'' Rohypnol and hours later bludgeoned him to death with a metal ornament in the bedroom of their luxury apartment in Hong Kong, prosecutors said.
