The dating montage in "The Naked Gun" where Drebin and Priscilla Presley are doing all these goofy things together. In between the shots of them doing things like laughing as they walk out of "Platoon," you see several shots of them running arm-in-arm on a beach. Finally, at the end, they come up on another couple doing the same thing. Drebin and Priscilla spread out just a bit and clothesline them.
All of that to the tune of Herman's Hermits' "I'm Into Something Good."
    Cracks me up every time.

Question related to this one that's always bugged me. Soon after this scene, we see Clemenza instructing Michael on the firing of the hand gun.

But wait a minute, Michael was a WAR HERO! He knows how to fire a handgun, same as a rifle. I know it's a chance to set up the restaurant scene, so we're waiting for Michael to drop the gun and everything. But still.

Mayor: Oh Drebin. I don't want anymore trouble like you had last year. THAT'S my policy.

Drebin: Yes, well when I see five weirdos dressed in togas stabbing an innocent man in front of a hundred people, I shoot the bastards. That's MY policy.

Mayor: That was Shakespeare In The Park production of Julius Caesar, you moron! You killed five actors. Good ones!

Love that scene, as well as this one, when Frank is cleaning out his desk:

Drebin: "Hey, here's the missing evidence in the Kellner case. (opens manilla envelope) By God, he WAS innocent!"

Hocken: "He went to the chair two years ago, Frank."

    Drebin: "Oh"

    And more from my list:

"Falling Down": The I Want Breakfast scene:

"The Goonies": So much great stuff, but I always loved the part where Chunk tells the Fratellis his life story.

"Back to School": Dangerfield and Kinison:

Like all the lines in that movie, the pitch-perfect delivery made that scene. The way the mayor emphasized "Good ones!" was hilarious, as if to imply that shooting bad actors would've been OK.

Reminds me of "Dirty Harry," which was on AMC earlier tonight as part of "Dirty Harry" week - "Magnum Force" aired right after and "The Enforcer" is on tomorrow.

What a creepy, sinister movie the original was. And yet totally compelling. Love the torture scene after Harry shoots Scorpio on the football field.

Also have to add a vote for the old man playing cards in the Blues Brothers:

"Ya get my Cheez Whiz, boy?"

One of all-time best one-liners and a classic toss by Dan Aykroyd.

That whole flying scene is great, starting with Jim Backus telling Rooney to mix up a few old fashioneds.

That movie is filled with great scenes: Sid Caesar and Edie Adams trapped in the basement of the hardware store, and perhaps the most memorable scene, Jonathan Winters absolutely destroying the newly opened service station.

Joe, What do you think this is the Army, where you shoot'em a mile away? You've gotta get up close like this and bada-bing, you blow their brains all over your nice Ivy League suit.

My favorite scene in a movie of amazing scenes in that movie is where Tom tells Vito about Sonny's death.

Other favorites -- while corny on rewatching, the scene where Coach Dale has the Hickory team measure the height of the rim and the foul line distance.

In "Crimes and Misdemeanors", where Judah tells the Woody Allen character about the murder in the guise of a movie plot. Just amazingly acted by Martin Landau.

"Do the Right Thing" -- the scene where Radio Raheem is killed and the riot happens.

"Donnie Brasco" -- where Lefty goes off to what he knows is going to be is death for Donnie

In "Annie Hall" -- the Marshall McLuhan scene.

"Malcolm X" -- the assassination scene with "Change is Gonna Come", IMO the best use of music in a movie scene.

What an awesome movie! Love the scene when Michael Douglass blows up the street, with that kid telling him how to use the bazooka.

My favorite part in that movie, and I remember my brother and I being the only ones in the theater and pissing ourselves laughing, was when those Hispanic guys tried to take his briefcase and he beats the fuck out of both of them with the baseball bat. They start running away, and Douglass shouts, "Where you going? You forgot your briefcase!"

There are a lot of good scenes in "Little Miss Sunshine" but none better than the beauty pageant. Olive was great as the "What the fuck is this?" contestant.

    From 2 1/2:

Drebin: Hector Savage. Hey I remember this guy, ex-boxer, real name is Joey Chicago. He fought under the name of Kid Minneapolis.

Nordberg: Hey I saw Kid Minneapolis fight once! In Cincinnati.

Drebin: No, you're thinking of Kid New York, who fought out of Philly.

Ed: He was killed in the ring in Houston. By Tex Colorado, you know, the Arizona Assassin?

Nordberg: Yeah! From Dakota! I don't remember if it was North or South.

Drebin: North! South Dakota was his brother. From West Virginia!

Ed: You sure know your boxing Frank.

Drebin: Well, all I know is never bet on the white guy.

    Nordberg nods in agreement.
