    Which reminds me of “Two-Ton” Tony Galento, who has my favorite quote in Bartlett’s Familiar Quotations — “I’ll moida da bum,” uttered before his fight with heavyweight champ Joe Louis.

    Yeah, not quite. While Galento did knock Louis down once, Louis polished him off in the fourth round.
