I didn't watch Freaks and Geeks, Firefly (overrated), Andy Richter Controls the Universe or My So-Called Life until after they were canceled.

My So-Called Life ... now, there was a show that should have lasted another 2-3 seasons.

It's Like, You Know was another one I loved... Then I realized that if you weren't from California, you didn't get about half the jokes or references...

It had the friend from My So-Called Life, Jennifer Grey (playing herself) and Evan Handler, who went on to Sex in the City and Californication.

Grosse Pointe. It was a satire produced by Darren Star and was set behind-the-scenes at a Beverly Hills 90210 type-show. Pretty brilliant, especially if you had watched 90210 (which Star also produced) but the show only lasted one season on the ol' WB.

Does anyone else even remember this existing?

For my 1,000th post, may I nominate another show I liked that died way to quickly:

    Birds of Prey

I'm not a big comic geek, so I knew nothing of the actual story...but all three chicks were smokin' hot, especially Batman's daughter..which reminds me, time to go over to the "hottest chicks" thread and nominate her!

God, Pushing Daisies is a great call. How I loved that show.

Some good stuff here. I'll add votes for The Critic, Sledge Hammer!, and Get a Life. (Does anyone know how they got R.E.M. to let them use "Stand" as the theme song for Get a Life? That seems like a very un-R.E.M. thing to do.)

I also liked E/R. Not the '90s hospital drama starring George Clooney, but the '80s sitcom starring . . . George Clooney (along with Elliot Gould and Mary McDonnell).

That show was terrible, but I always watched the random reruns. :D

    Viva Laughlin.

It was worse than Cop Rock. Pulled after one episode.
