I remember it was supposed to be a star vehicle for Lane Davies, who had gained renown as Mason Capwell on the soap opera Santa Barbara. But it was a mess. From the folks who gave us Soap and Golden Girls.

"Skag" .... an early 80s series that didn't last a full season.
Karl Mauldin played a Pittsburgh steelworker - an everyday Joe.
It had potential but for some reason go yanked.

Skag? I guess it did exist at one time. (nine minute mark) Kind of sucked that the entire steel industry collapsed when this came out.

But check out the steaming piece of shit at the 3:39 mark. (Be sure to see the hot number in the car at the end)

Because it got so very repetitive, so quickly . . . the same disease which struck down Sorkin's Saturday Night Live left-coast knockoff.

I've been watching "Kitchen Confidential" on Fox. It's loosely based on Anthony Bordain's book about coming up as a chef and has a couple of recognizable faces in the cast, including Bradley Cooper.
Its one and only season is on Hulu.

I honestly felt Sorkin's show was not given enough time to develop legs. Very disappointed there.

The Paul Reiser Show. 2 episodes.

The biggest complaint was "It's just a rip off of Curb Your Enthusiasm!" Well, that's nice. But I never saw that show. Plus, I think Paul Reiser is hilarious. Apparently, I'm the only one.

Yeah ... but, Brad ... it was so much a rip off of Curb Your Enthusiasm. ;)

It was just like Curb. Except not funny.

Well, I watched Season 2, Ep. 1 and Casey and Dana kissed. Once you break the sexual tension between the two main characters, it's all down hill.

    Love the banter, though.

The Riches. I really miss that show.

To Have and To Hold, a CBS drama about Boston newlyweds living next to their oversized Irish families. Probably overrating it because we got married that summer and adopted it as "our" show.
