Uh, no. Dana and Casey kissing wasn't the problem. The writers' inability/unwillingness to actually get them together and keep them that way was where it all went wrong, thanks to the incredibly insipid "dating plan" plot. It's the same problem that happened with Moonlighting, only minus all the behind-the-scenes drama.

I love convertibles! (and just after that VW scene you had the token black actress in a role where she was scrubbing something down or washing something)
Seg TV ... I'm just sayin'

Putting what's-his-name with a porn star didn't help, either.

That was Jeremy, not Casey. Jeremy and Natalie were an entirely separate issue. But yes, Paula Marshall was awful.

    I knew it wasn't Casey. I just couldn't remember Jeremy's name.

I kinda liked Jeremy and Natalie right up until they broke them up. Then it just got annoying.

Yeah, I just watched Sports Night from start to finish recently (in like a weekend). The first season was great. The second season had its moments, but wasn't nearly as good.

I loved Sports Night right up to the end. Thought it was the best thing on TV in a long time.

I always thought the show lost a little bit of soul when Robert Guillaume had his stroke and they had to write his character out for a while and then limit him when he came back. But it was still the best thing on TV (and, yes, I realize Seinfeld was on at that time and hitting on all cylinders -- Sports Night was still better).

As much as I loved Sports Night when it aired... I put it in the DVD player not too long ago, and it just doesn't hold up anymore. Good for its time, but not much staying power.

(As opposed to Sorkin's other baby, West Wing. I still watch those DVDs over and over and over... never get sick of it.)

From a few years back - "Line of Fire" about the FBI's attempts to take town the leading racketeer in Richmond, Va. of all places.
Had a lot going for it - kind of like The Chicago Code - David Paymer played the racketeer, Leslie Hope played the head Fed, Anson Mount an undercover agent in Paymer's operation, Leslie Bibb played a young agent and Brian Goodman was also on it. It helped that a lot of it was shot in Richmond and Rod Lurie, who did "The Contender" was the producer.

Damn, I miss those 2 guys.

Sportsnight (where my crush on Sabrina Lloyd began)
Huff! (well-written show with a great cast. Thought Showtime pulled the plug way too early).
    Police Squad (In Color!)

With Rex Hamilton as Abraham Lincoln!
Tonight's episode: Murder Most Foul (with "Who Ordered the Spaghetti?" on screen)

(Tripleoption will get it. So will Leslie Nielsen fans.) GREAT show.
