    And had he missed the kick, another chance was coming -- an official dropped a flag while the ball was in mid-air, not that McDonough or Spielie noticed.

    Pretty easy to see one of the Beakers roughed the hell out of the kicker, as he was damn near on his back while the ball drew inside the upright.

    Saw this on TV from the other side of the newsroom. Great shot.

    Tried to watch as much as I could while pumping out the news section. Barnburner! (And I covered ;) )

    Well, KU, looks like a Jan. 1 bowl. But hey, you showed some nice yarbles coming back.

    Just caught the Baylor-Wazzu highlight.

    Uh, Mr. Washington State quarterback, when you're in the shotgun, pay attention, so the snap doesn't hit you in the facemask and go for a turnover.
