As far as the Big Ten Network is concerned, Illinois is beating the University of Louisiana. Suck it Baton Rouge!

Webby's too busy celebrating last night's win over Kansas.

    (Sorry, Oz ... )

Really great to see that Chase Patton can run the offense competently. And Chase Coffman has to be a top-10 draft pick, right?

Probably a late first-rounder. I don't see him as a game-changing player. But that doesn't mean he isn't reliable as hell. Someone will make him a big part of their offense.

And I just noticed that Mizzou topped 600 yards with more than a quarter to play against Nevada.

ULL down 20-17 and kicking off with 18 seconds to play. Illinois is officially out of the top 25.

Edit: Illinois recovers the kick and hangs on by a thread.

Ehh, don't penalize Illinois. ULL has hung with teams the last few years.

How can Maryland lose to Middle Tennessee State and then look so good against Cal?

Exactly -- they play sloppy football, and they force some really good teams to do it, too.

Not counting when an average Southern Miss team beat the doors off them Labor Day weekend.

Whatever the Cajun French word for "dogshit" is, it should be stiched to the front of the Illinois unis for the rest of the season.
