FBC 2008 Week 3 running thread

Arkie State has gotten more coverage over this promotion than beating A&M.

 

When I was in college, the bookstore ran a deal where they would give a one-percent discount per point by which the team won. They soon ended it once the U won its first three games by more than 50.

I had a hunch that either you or I would be the first to comment on that game, which is getting lost in the shuffle this week. From Ohio State-USC to Wisconsin-Fresno State to UCLA-BYU to Michigan Notre Dame, there's going to be a lot of good games on Saturday. But KU-USF has Friday night to itself.

KU beat the 13-7 Bulls two years ago in Lawrence, in what might have been Grothe's first start.

 

Personally, I'd like to see this game, but Friday night is a bad night. In general, I'm not a big fan of college games on Friday, especially marquee games like this. Like you said, kind of gets lost in the mix.

Agreed. I'll be on desk for a high school Friday night, so I'll DVR it and watch it when I get home. Unless they embarrass themselves, in which case you're happy and I'm deleting it ASAP.

 

Eh. I wasn't very impressed last week.
