As it turns out, the answer is:

Michigan sucks much, much more than Notre Dame.

OH GOD, THE HORROR! THE HORROR!

Va. Tech has broken out the orange tops, to the detriment of TV sets everywhere.

Zeke, Iowa-ISU was putrid to watch. Probably the worst game ever played in this series since it was renewed in 1977. There are a few things I took out of that game: Iowa still has a QB problem, and there defense can only do so much to keep them in the game, particularly if the offense can't move the damn ball. Andy Brodell, thank you for making a big play for the first time in a long while.

On the ISU side: Cyclones kicking game is still full of fail. Always have been, always will be.

I'll be happy when Wartburg plays Augsburg tonight in the Twin Cities. At least, that will be entertaining to listen to online.

Notre Dame 21, Michigan 0 with 4:51 to go in the first quarter.

Lot of trembling couches in West Virginia this afternoon.

21? Well fuckity fuck fuck... I have 7-3 Notre Dame in the Bar squares... doubt Notre Dame wiull get back on 7, but dont think Michigan's going to get 3 based on what I saw in the first four minutes.

Agree with your thesis, disagree with how you get there. College football is not algebra.

Also, the NBC Notre Dame Hyperbole Machine is in full motion.

Some sideline reporter said she "just witnessed Claussen become a leader."
