Because Tony Franklin, their new coordinator, is apparently sleeping with totally committed to Chris Todd at QB. They did their best to rig the quarterback competition in spring ball. When Todd had a dead arm and couldn't throw for dick, they decided to extend the competition until fall camp. When Burns looked better in fall camp, they waited until the last possible moment to name him co-starter. Then Burns got banged up against La.-Monroe and they used the opportunity to stick Todd in there.

Franklin has known Todd since 8th grade and somehow decided he was the second coming - never mind that he's a JUCO transfer who couldn't hack it at Texas Tech and was only being recruited by Troy before Franklin changed jobs. It has already started to split the fan base, and could be spreading to the locker room. The fact that Todd is white and Burns is black doesn't help the perception much, either.

Wisconsin finishes the season at Indiana, home to Minnesota, and home to Cal Poly. Was Cumberland not available?

Just stating the obvious: If anyone, at any point later this season, makes even the slightest inference that a one-loss tOSU team deserves to be in the title game, I will flame that person or persons with all the intensity of Hell's great furnace. I don't care if every other team in the land loses at least three games. If that makes me a shameless fanboi looser, then so be it.

I now return you to your regularly scheduled late games. Be careful out there, and have a Happy The Big Televen Can Eat My Ass Day.

Shit, we're talking about that Chris Todd? I just realized I saw him in high school and wasn't overly impressed with him then.

    Which one? Kentucky or Tennessee?

If things go well from here on out and OSU gets a couple breaks I think they could play for the national title with one loss. I think they'd deserve it...

Oh, go play in the street. tOSU will lose (at least) twice in the Big Ten and nobody wants to see a rematch of what we saw tonight.

    Puppies got pounded. :D

Washington should play Idaho. Either it'd be stuck at 0-all forever or it would look like an arena game because of the horrible defenses.
