Gameball goes to... Harrell, who completed 31 of 48 passes for 418 yards for five touchdowns.
Stat of the game... 693: Tech's backup QB, Taylor Potts, chipped in 95 passing yards as he and Harrell compiled almost 700 passing yards.\\

This bit of mathematic wizardry brought to you by the WWL.

    Quick....does 418 + 95 equal 693?

In a rush, don't feel like reading the whole thread, but Arizona State really lost to UNLV at home? Wow.

Meh. I still call the one in Kentucky "Cumberland College."

Actually, I believe that's Babe, Paul Bunyan's giant blue ox.

Pac-10 = ACC, early/mid 90s. You've got a team that could compete in the NFC East at the top...and the rest of the conference is ass.

Arizona State ... bitches. That's why ASU and Cal, no matter how much the pundits mentally masturbate them, will never come close to being in USC's stratosphere. But Oregon is making strides. The Ducks are winning on the road at BCS schools. Showed a lot yesterday by beating Purdue. Sure, Purdue isn't a Big 11 juggernaut, but it's a solid-ass team. Oregon being Oregon and all, Oregon should've lost yesterday. It was a big win for the program and not just because it's a big road win in the post-Dixon era. It's a building block win and another reason why the Ducks are taking nice waddles, err, steps into the upper echelon of college football.

Same with Fresno, which is so damn close. It just needs to beat a good school. Winning last night would've been so big for Hill's boys. That said, Wiscy showed a lot but holding on to win. I don't think the Badgers will lose during the regular season, the only real tough game being Penn State (if they play).

The Badgers didn't look great, but I'd be remiss without mentioning that the WAC officiating crew was way worse than most high school crews.

    Holy cow, were they bad.

The "experts" have been saying Arizona State is going to blow up at any miunte for the last 10 years. They should be a way better program.

ASU has been a fraud since post-Jeff Van Raaphorst.

It can't be that hard to recruit to Tempe. They have probably the best looking women outside of any SEC school. From what I understand the school isn't all that hard to get in to.
