crApple Cup is living up to expectations so far.

State College looks like it usually looks in Pullman during the Apple Cup ... oh, snow.

Looks like the Vols will win the Tennessee Bowl by beating Vandy.
It won't happen, but it would be cool to see Fat Phil bury the hatchet and have Majors on the sideline next week for Kentucky. Of course Majors probably won't accept, if the offer was extended, but it would still be a nice gesture on Fulmer's part.

If LSU-Ole Miss wasn't on, I'd be inclined to check out some of the Apple Cup just to see how bad it is. It's like a three-hour disaster flick.
Speaking of which, Jevan Freaking Snead just scrambled 25 yards for a TD on LSU's vaunted defense. It was wiped out by a penalty, but still. Ugh.

Don't know about MSU, but Minnesota plays in four, I think, and plays for the coolest, IMHO.

They play Wisconsin for Paul Bunyan's Axe, which is the second coolest trophy in sports after the Stanley Cup.

They play Michigan for the Little Brown Jug, which is just nothing but teh awesomes.

They play Iowa today for Floyd of Rosedale, which is a statue of a pig but pretty sweet nonetheless.

And they play Penn State for something, but that's fairly new.

Of course, they never win any of those trophies, but they do play for them.

(The hockey team remains unbeaten. Suck it, the lot of you!)

Damn Wolfson, at LSU, walked with some hulking lineman thru the team's "Walk to the Stadium"
God-awful interview scenario .. the kid was stooping, bending down the whole time to try and hear her.

I suppose they are doing what's assigned of them, but Geez it gets old.

Don't know, but Roseau native Aaron Ness had his first collegiate goal last night to help the top-ranked Gophers beat Denver, 5-2.

Syracuse up 10-6 over the Domers. Whoo boy.

And I'm trying to think of the last time Washington has had a lead of more than 7 points in a game, looked it up, they've never led a game by more than 7 this year.

I would like to see one of those giant lineman just scoop up Wolfson and hold her up so they could see eye to eye.
That would be awesome. Completely, completely awesome.

And hasn't LSU's quarterback thrown more interceptions returned for touchdowns than he has thrown touchdowns. That is one hell of a stat, if true.
