Turned on the Apple Cup for a minute and saw the season of both teams summed up in one play:
Wazzu QB throws behind his receiver and the pass is picked. Washington DB gets up -- the replay showed he was down and it appears to be coming back, but that's not important -- and starts running down the field. He has eight blockers to pick up one Wazzu tackler, and still gets forced out of bounds around the 30.
    Egads.

Lee has thrown 14 TDs, and had seven INTs returned for scores. Not quite accurate, but still not good.

And there was a photo from LSU's media day last year that cracked me up. Tyson Jackson, a huge defensive lineman with about an eight-foot wingspan, had his arms outstretched and Trindon Holliday (all 5-5 of him) was hanging off one of his arms. Holliday's feet were off the ground.

Penn State's defense has been suffocating so far. Hoyer doesn't have time to breathe; neither does Ringer.

First time ever. Well, since that memorable one-game season of '83 -- 1883.

    Yeah. Saw it. Brutal.

She was yelling, which is not a good move for her. She has a voice that grates as it is, and when she gets loud, I turn into Cosmo Kramer listening to Mary Hart's voice on "Entertainment Tonight."

Bats you working graphics at CBS and pop that one up just for me?
    Nice work.
And LSU's QB has thrown more interceptions than touchdowns?
That's a pretty good indicator as to LSU's woes this season.

So let's say OSU doesn't get into the BCS. Who do you all think would win between UGA and OSU?

I think Georgia would hurt them on the ground.

Temple 55, Eastern Michigan 52 late in the fourth quarter. John Chaney was unavailable for comment.

Notre Dame, where fighting to be mediocre happens.
