I said it to start the season, but this Snead kid is pretty damned good.

The problem for Rick Greenspan - besides being an arrogant asshole - is that the football situation was a no-win. If he had let Lynch go, the new coach wouldn't have fared any better. Without Hardy and Porter, the rest of the B10 (esp. NW, Minny and Iowa) playing better and Kellen Lewis' off-season troubles, any coach would have struggled to do well. So now the fan base would have been excoriating Greenspan for getting rid of Lynch.

Yea. I figured, Texas recruit, must do something well. They were underrated this season.

Lynch deserves a break - he got the Hoosiers into a bowl game last year. Indiana hasn't been good enough, long enough to call for a coaches head after a terrible year. Do they really think Brady Hoke would take that job?

And IU has a new AD, figure Lynch will be under the gun soon enough.

OK, LSU fans, forgive my ignorance...but is your tight end really named Richard Nixon?!?

Nixon's backup was forced to quit the team after he took extra benefits and failed to report them on his taxes.

LSU fans aren't cheering the completion; they're cheering Lee's injury.

That injury to Lee looked nasty. They said ankle sprain, but he looked like he might have broken it.

And I think the guy's name is spelled Richard Dickson.

As one of a relative handful on here who actually watched Ole Miss-Florida, I wondered if the rest of the world would catch on to how much talent the Rebels have. Even with LSU trying to rally, I really like there chances here. A win today and in the Egg Bowl, and they're 8-4.
