I think if you would have told me the Rose Bowl would be Penn State v Oregon State in September I'd have assumed USC and OSU were in the NC game.

And for all of the people who say a playoff would devalue the regular season, I give you exhibit A: The Oregon State Beavers.
As cool as it is that a team that looked like absolute garbage in September has a shot at the Rose Bowl, how much better would it be if they were playing for a shot at a national championship next week against Oregon?
Exhibit B is the ACC, which would be an enthralling race if more than just a crappy Orange Bowl game against Utah or Boise State were on the line.

 

I'm voting for Ohio State. They are a good team.
