FBC week 13 running thread

Discussion in 'Sports and News' started by 2muchcoffeeman, Nov 16, 2008.

  1. Makes sense, since OU beat Texas and all.

I have no respect for a school that is the University of Oklahoma and goes by "O-U." Or that had Barry Switzer as a coach. Or Rhett Bomar at quarterback.

  2. I don't think the running game has given him an opportunity to take over this game and cement that. The only thing certain is Harrell will be invited, but he's definitely not winning. It's down to McCoy and Bradford now.

Um, yes. Throwing shit on the field and then running onto the field while the game is still being played should be a penalty.

Aren't there a lot of schools that reverse their initials like that? The University of Oklahoma calling itself OU isn't the only one.

Agreed. UT's lone loss was on the road, on the final play, at the end of a four-game stretch where the highest ranked opponent was No. 13, or whatever Mizzou was at the time.

If Texas and OU win out, Texas should head to KC. But the fact that OU played Tech and Okie State the last two weeks will likely push it to the top.

  7. Hey, you need to come live in Oklahoma for all of five minutes. You'd feel the same way.

EA just asked the Cincy coach about Syracuse beating Notre Dame today being a blessing for Cincy.
Can someone tell me why? Maybe I'm just dumb.

Like I said, don't give a shit. Oklahoma has looked better all in all against tougher competition, and is routing the team that beat Texas.

You mean you don't know that??!!??

    Neither do I, actually.

  12. ... and Texas still beat OU. By 10, on a neutral site.
