My 95-year-old grandmother either fell and broke her hip or (both worse and what we think actually happened) fell because her weakened hip bone snapped when she put weight on it the Sunday before Election Day. She had a partial replacement on Election Day and the hospital's physical therapist had her up and walking around the next day. She wasn't walking around well without assistance beforehand, but she's getting back to that level already.

If the old man had the surgery today, he'll be on the sidelines at the Rose Bowl.

i didn't realize the old man walked the sideline nor did i know he contributed jack shit to the team's success other than pissing himself between quarters.
