A little early to be going for two, innit?

Kind of a rough game to watch but the backyard-grilled steaks, biscuits and corn at halftime made for a pleasant interlude.

Mississippi State (6-2) avoided joining the group of Top 25 losers today with a 29-25 homecoming win over Alabama-Birmingham.
Final stretch includes Kentucky, at Alabama, Arkansas, at Ole Miss.

I'd rather lose all of those last four than to have lost this one.
This one would have been tough to stomach.

Oh, hell yes. And doing that slow-developing crap from the 1 and having to setting for the field goal. It's just so scary to let them keep hanging in.

Missouri clearly wants this more than Oklahoma does. No question there.

Why does OU go for two there??? Take the one, be down 8. Don't go for two until you absolutely, positively have to.

Agreed. That was idiotic. I was stunned. And Brent and Herbie haven't said anything about it, as far as I can tell.

Also, I think that ball went 10 yards.

I'm not sure what I'm more miffed by...

Going for two with the dreaded "slow developing roll out to the right side" (my most hated of ALL 2-point conversion attempts) or the fact that Brent and Kirk have said NOTHING about it.

    A TERRIBLE coaching move.

If it was 36-28, we all know Mizzou would be crapping bricks and would probably go 3 and out...

I'm puzzled by this. It's as if Mike McCarthy took over Stoops' visor.

Yep. I still can't get over how dumb a call going for 2 was there. Just moronic.

Down 9, with 2:17 left, and no timeouts, facing 4th-and-10 deep in their own territory.... Oklahoma PUNTED!!! WTF??? Yeah, you probably turn the ball over on downs. But your only chance to win is to go for it.... and you PUNT???? WTF????
