Justice is not best served when jurors have to worry about whether their decision will result in violence. That's a lot of pressure to put on people who were drafted for the job. As I've said before, there's a side of this issue that will accept only one outcome and they're not the least bit interested in whether the right or wrong decision is made, as long as it fits their narrative.

I get the whole jury nullification thing and 20, 30, 50 years ago, few African-Americans were going to get justice. But if the evidence shows that Darren Wilson acted within his authority, why should he get indicted for stuff that happened before he was born, if he's actually not guilty?

If he's guilty, go after him with the full force of the law. But what if he's not? Neighborhoods going up in flames is an awful lot to burden a grand jury with when they're deliberating.

Martial law and curfews and the National Guard. Everybody stay home for several days and chill out.

But then again, we can't keep a few doctors who've been to Ebolaland to stay put for safety reasons.

So expect the worst. I just wonder how many other cities will take the opportunity to riot. ??

We are less and less of a republic every day.
When laws are ignored, or quite simply decreed,
    when court rulings are ignored,
when founding documents are despised and ignored,
when the consent of the governed is no longer present,
    it's no longer a republic.

I'm just glad no one in the US is strapping explosives to themselves and taking out as many people as possible. Not yet at least.

TV reporters on location in bullet proof vests. They looks like their dressed for downtown Baghdad

Time to buy stock in barrier companies.

I was wondering about that - how to profit off of riots.

    Buy:
Body bag companies - probably not enough bodies though
Glass repair companies - probably the best
    Guns and ammo

    Sell off:
    Insurance companies
