Impose martial law and shoot them when they riot.

Oh bullshit. All this tripe about our "racist culture" and people being "dealt with the worst hand by our society" obscures the fact that people of all races deal themselves shitty hands every day with their own poor decisions and irresponsibility.

People who hold attitudes like yours -- and make excuses for people rioting and looting as a form of "protest" -- are really the biggest racists in this whole mess.

It sucks that white people have to endure racism.

When you think about it, they're the ones who are really oppressed.

One would have to be particularly dumb to find that acknowledging racist tendencies our culture somehow means nobody ever makes bad decisions.

I mean, some people *are* that dumb so I can see why they would find it obscuring, but the rest of us can handle both thoughts simultaneously without too much difficulty.

The problem here is that a whole bunch of white people in power, from Wilson through the local PD to the prosecutor, acted irresponsibly and made bad decisions, but there will be no consequences.

Well, you can enjoy your moral superiority, but you're obviously not smart enough to be exact with your language when you type.

    You didn't write "racist tendencies."

    You wrote "racist culture."

I sure hope I don't have to explain the difference in those two phrases to a super-smart guy like you.

There is no semantic difference between "racist tendencies in culture" and "racist culture." They are functionally equivalent.

Please also note that there have been a crap-ton of arrests related to the rioting and protests. The people breaking the law are not getting away with it when possible.

First off, I wasn't talking about rioting, I was talking about riots. I don't know how you can read that thread and think that riots are the topic. It's not. He was saying that since there's black-on-black crime, we shouldn't worry about police abuse of power. Which has nothing to do with riots.

Also, I don't know that the second paragraph of yours is true. Maybe it is, maybe it's not, but I'd like further explanation.
