I didn't vote for Colorado, but its QB hasn't lost in the last 60 games he's played in, dating back to his 6th grade pee wee days.

hey, I put Michigan at No. 25 in my poll. Figured since I had them at No. 1 to start, I couldnt drop them ALL the way out.

If I may be so bold, I do believe that one voter had the reigning national champions as the land's No. 1 Division 1-A collegiate football team.

That accounts for only one point. They got 66.

As a note... the first post on this thread is now and will be an active archive. Click on the link and it will take you to each week's poll....
And BYH owes us a No. 25 pick. Unlike the others who did vote of appy state, he didn't offer an alternative.

And Michigan ranged from 14th to 25th among those who voted

Yeah, that was me at 14. As I sent to Slappy for possible quotables,

"Ranking Michigan was my toughest decision. I originally left them out of my Top 25 Sunday afternoon, but thought quite a bit about what I wanted to do and ended up revising it Monday afternoon. After all, since the poll is still based upon speculation after one week, I couldn't see Michigan losing many more games this season. Thus, they stuck at No. 14 for me."

I figured that their schedule is pretty simple for the rest of the season, and they'll hang in tough for the close games (one loss doesn't really change their talent level), so I figured a nice, middle-of-the-road slot was conservative.

    I respect your reasoning, Eagleboy.

I do think, though, that the loss was a statement loss, and thus a statement needs to be made regarding their ranking in the subsequent poll.
