So how many games does U-M have to win to even get a No. 25 vote in anyone's poll?

They may not get points again unless they beat Ohio State, Michigan State AND Wisconsin.

Well, nothing if they beat ND next week. They might if they knock off a still undefeated Penn State the week after, but if not, they may be waiting 'til a possible win against the Spartans on November 3.

Nebraska did not impress me at all. Never been a fan of Callahan's west-coast style, and Wake gave that game away today.

Are there even 25 good teams in the country?

So we can put Appy State in our polls now that they are legal in the APs?

    No.

This isn't NASCAR or AP, we're not changing rules during the season.

I'll just keep ranking them No. 26 all season. ;D

Not only did they beat a bad D-II team with a freshman backup starting at QB, they beat a team coached by a guy who got fired at Duke. I think you could build a team with the first three pages of SportsJournalists.com members ranked by number of posts and they'd be -9 against L-R.

Thanks. I feel good right now. 2 teams I wasn't that high on, Georgia and Aubrun, both lost.

So, HB, how about Auburn? :)
