He dropped WVU for "playing poorly" against Maryland, a school from a BCS conference. He kept Wisconsin in the same spot for playing like shit against Citadel. Both teams pulled away in the second half. Maryland ... Citadel ... makes perfect sense to me.

If you're gonna make your vote public, you're gonna hear from people. What's the problem? It's not like I pulled a spnited and called HB a fucking goddamn dickhead or anything.

Clarification: The only reason I posted my poll was to show that HB's prediction of big moves in this week's poll had already played out in my 1/36th share of it. But if you're going to post in public, be aware that it'll be open for scrutiny. So if you guys want to go after me for voting Cal ahead of Oklahoma, Virginia Tech 11 or Texas A&M 14, so be it.

Thanks once again for being SportsJournalists.com's morality police. I was questioning his logic, not influencing the process. I had no expectations he'd change his vote. Anything else you'd like to accuse me of while you're at it?

    Well . . . .

I'm just stating it the way I see it. People who openly post their vote are making a mistake, because there will be people who loudly state their disagreements.

    Not accusing or insulting anyone.

Seems that's more your modus operandi.

In the interests of keeping this thread civil, I'm not going to say what I think of your hypocrisy. Moving on ...

When was the last time the top four or five teams were so loaded, a justification could be made for any of them to be No. 1?

Recent history indicates that if you're interested in keeping a thread civil, you wouldn't post on it.

Again, don't get mad at me because you acted the jerk over someone else's vote, and I mentioned that maybe you shouldn't try to influence other voters. Call it whatever makes you feel good, but I think ripping someone's vote should not be done.

As for the rest, this is Week 3. At this point just about every season, there are a lot of teams that think they can make a case to be No. 1.

Ballot submitted. And, in agreement with Piotr, my ballot shall remain secret.

Am doing some of the totals now... I can say that there are two teams entering this that... well, I just need a shower because I feel dirty.
