    No, I think a little common sense comes in handy there. But I do consider Florida a top-5 team right now, and I could make a case for them at 4, 3, 2 or 1 when I was deciding on my poll.

    Frankly, I don't think USC is good enough to be 1, and they're having a lot of personnel issues right now to boot. I think Florida is probably better.

    LSU was my next choice at 1, but I don't know enough about them yet. Having not seen either team, I'll give Florida the nod right now.

    Michigan doesn't have a chance at the top spot, for me.

    That leaves Florida. Plus, again, it's preseason and they're still champs. Which, for me, does enter the equation when everyone's record is ---.

    And then we'll see what happens next week. That's why they play the games.

    That is one of my favorite things about college football season: Watching the late-night PAC 10 game in FXSN!
    Absolutely love it.
    I've grown into an Oregon Ducks fan.

    I love seeing teams on the road at Pullman in that time slot.
    Driving snowstorm or simply cold as hell.
    I love having money on WSU and watching them cover.
    The get-even game. Love it.
