    Pyramid Boy is right.
No split picks. Have some balls...

Nah, I like split votes. Remember when JoePa split his vote three ways among unbeaten USC, Oklahoma and Auburn before the bowls? I liked that.

mrs. petty keeps mine in her purse and, when i'm really good, takes them out and shows them to me and asks "remember when you used to own these?"

my bad, i'm reading on a celly. just having a little testy fun. that's why they call me ol' one nut.

i think hawaii warrants a No. 1 pick, but the 'bows better prove it in their BCS game.

    You know what's funny?

People who aren't voting bitching about the voting.

Slappy opened this up to anyone who wanted in. So if you don't like it, it's your own fault. Shut the fuck up. And if you weren't on the board in September? Not like this place is flying under the radar. No excuse not to be wasting several hours here a day.

Except TP. He can say what he wants, because his wife has his balls in her pocketbook.

I find it funny that voting for a tie is a copout, but picking Hawaii isn't. Hawaii has no shot at actually being ranked No. 1, so isn't picking them also a way of avoiding answering the question of who the real No. 1 team is?

    "I'm picking Hawaii! Aren't I edgy?"

Sure, they're undefeated. And sure, that should receive some sort of recognition. But you people don't honestly think that Hawaii is the best team in the country, do you?

    Fuck, never mind.

The win over Boise proves Hawaii should be in a BCS bowl. No. 1? Too many close games against mediocre teams. And I think it's presumptuous to say, for example, that a two-loss SEC team is better than a one-loss Big East team. But I think we have enough common sense to say that a one-loss Big East team has more cred for No. 1 than an unbeaten WAC team with the weakest schedule in the country. At some point, the smell test has to come into play.

Hank, I'm just saying Hawaii shouldn't be No. 1. My personal benefit of doubt would put them in top 10, but certainly not 1 or 2.

And like I posted yesterday, by the "undefeated record" principle being applied by the four voters who have Hawaii No. 1, if Buffalo or Arkansas State goes undefeated next year and there's no other unbeaten team in Week 13, they HAVE to be No. 1.

Another thought for the "Hawaii is No. 1 in poll" voters: Say there were an 8-team playoff, and say Hawaii was the No. 1 overall seed. You really think Hawaii will win 3 consecutive playoff games? Seriously?
