I understand the official polls can't include them. I'm talking about this one. FCS schools were not explicitly excluded, perhaps because nobody could conceive of a scenario where someone would give legitimate consideration to one. In fact, I'm pretty sure App over Michigan was the only way it would happen. And here we are.

Slap, do you want our votes before Monday night's FSU-Clemson game?

If we can, I would because no one accomplished more one game into the season than App State.

I can't imagine there are odds for the sub-division, but App Staters are going to be rhapsodizing in their collective bucket of taint all week and won't come close to winning next week's game, whoever it's against. So what's the line?

App State will destroy their Div. II opponent next year. If they were playing Montana or JMU or UMass or another FCS (look Mert! I caved :D) power, they might suffer a let down, but not against a crap ass Div-II team.

And there are no lines on games that are between different levels of football.

Sorry, been busy... if you want to vote before FSU-Clipson tomorrow, fine. And you can change the vote or send in late. Otherwise, please try to get in before midday.
Also, as an aside -- AppSt. is not eligible for this since its IAABPSBS. However if you want to include as a note where you would rank them if you could rank them for this week only, that will give me great column fodder for the poll results....

I will not reveal that, however if he/she wants to PM me when they send in their picks on why they ranked UM No. 1 and why the dropped them as far as they did, I would be happy to include the quotes.

    Ok Ok Ok.

It was me that ranked U-M No. 1. Horrible decision on my part. I know that they always choke at least one away somehow, but I figured maybe just maybe with the offensive talent they have returning, they wouldn't. I, however, forgot about the coaching element, apparently.

Anyway, fire away at my inepitude.

Looks like four people were really smart and put Clemson in there..

    I wonder who they are. ... :)

It's that kind of honesty that makes me want to kill someone on my way out. A hammock is on the way, Hank. Would you prefer Marianne's Hammock?
