I really don’t understand the point of watching fencing unless it’s on slow-mo. Yet here I am doing it.

Peacock goes away as soon as the flame is extinguished. Until then, I'll binge watch all morning for the next two weeks.

I don’t think that Ledecky would win the 400, but she had no hope of finishing in the top 2.

So go ahead and shoot me. I like Rowdy Gaines on swimming and have always liked Rowdy Gaines on swimming.

    Unless it's on a Sunday.

But seriously, they are somehow going to have them at the Coliseum and SoFi.

I love the fencing. I was really rooting for the French woman in the epee final — she was a huge underdog and jumped out to a 7-1 lead. Alas, Kong from Hong Kong (ranked No. 1 in the world) came back to win the gold medal in overtime.

And they show virtually every point in slow motion on the replay.

Yeah, let’s ignore a race for a gold medal and a possible world record to breathlessly chronicle every stroke for a bronze medalist.

Rowdy's a little excitable but he's memorable. Last night when they gave Alain Bernard the Olympic torch very briefly I figure the quick handoff was because Jason Lezak was waiting to steal it from behind.
