Heat is going to become more and more an issue for Summer Olympics pretty much everywhere. Los Angeles in July gets damn damn hot.

A Summer Olympics in Texas would be one of the world's first fully air-conditioned events. Pretty much everything would be held in indoor arenas.

Dallas in June is doable with highs in the 90s. The brutal stuff doesn't start until after Bobby Bonilla gets paid, and then it's hell until the Cowboys lose their opener.

The Summer Games have been held as late as October in Seoul in 1988, IIRC. Which is not exactly tropical. A late September Games in Texas can be pulled off.

But how are we losing to Poland in 3x3?

These U.S. 3x3 teams, however. Watching Tiffany Hayes from Winter Haven, Florida use her Azerbaijan citizenship to run circles around Team USA was funny.

Back when Boston was trying and failing to make a bid for THESE Games, the college dorm idea was an integral part of the plan. And the colleges all responded "no way."

At least the men's 3x3 didn't qualify in Tokyo to save themselves this sort of embarrassment.

Obvious ploy to scrog Peyton Manning.

To be fair, Cameron Brink getting injured didn't help

Canada WNT was hit with a six-point deduction due to drone usage. They go 3-0 in pool play and advance on just 3 points.

Putting Hailey Van Lith's slow-footed ass on the team didn't help either.
