Hey Burns, next time mark your soft-core hot dog porn fantasies as NSFW!

I only grill Hebrew Nationals. And spicy mustard only. Yellow mustard is an abomination.

Nathan's is clearly inferior to Hebrew Nationals, but when they used to be in Newark Airport's Terminal C, I always had two Nathan's dogs before my flight as a treat to myself.

Ton of mustard (spicy or yellow) and chunks of raw onion. All you need to top a good dog.

  4. That's a lot of work for one or two hot dogs.

I usually eat four when I make them. And it's not that bad. Two or three teaspoons of relish, one good-sized sliver of onion and about half a jalapeño about covers it. I chop and mix it and have it ready before the water even boils.

On a slightly related note, honey mustard is a fucking abomination. But if you want to put it on your hot dog/chicken tenders/what have you, more power to you.

You mean before the charcoal is even ready, right? More power to you and all.

The day I tried Hebrew Nationals for the first time spoiled me for the rest of my life. Sure, I'll eat a Ball Park, but the whole time I'm thinking how much better a Hebrew National would be.

I'm going to respectfully disagree here. One of my go-to sandwiches is a chicken cutlet on a poppy seed roll with honey mustard and cole slaw. That's about the only time I use it though.

I like the vinegar-based cole slaws and potato salads.

I'd go with spicy mustard. I really dislike honey mustard. Just too sweet for me, and mustard should NOT be sweet.
