I thought this had ended not well before, but it has the definite possibility of not ending well again.

The point in bringing this up is that the NFL is a copy-cat league. If someone uses an idea that is deemed great, others copy it.
Unfortunately, that hasn't happened in journalism and proof of that can be seen at the press box. Yes, there were more minorities represented than in the past but compare those numbers to those in attendance at the BCS championship game or better yet, the NCAA men's and women's basketball championships. The playing field will never be level but here's hoping things continue to change. I'm for diversity.

It is what it is TP. Questions regarding the race of the Super Bowl champion and other such frivolous topics would not merit a response if there was more diversity.

I don't think this is what everyone wants but I've noticed how quickly the fervor is dying down.

Yeah. And when Hispanic Tom Flores coached the Raiders in the Super Bowl, the fervor never started. Hmmmmmmmmmm.

the point is, things are and have been changing for some time and you know it. yes, flores was an aboration. the rooney rule isn't.

and, btw, i think flores took the raiders to a coupla sbs.
