Wahhh everyone misunderstands me HERE'S MY SHIT TO READ ANYWAY wahhh why don't people understand me HERE'S MY SHIT TO READ ANYWAY.

If you don't want us "idiots" to "misinterpret" your attention-stavred dribblings, don't post your columns. We won't miss them.

Good luck with that book on Herm! Probably will be more of a pamphlet.

If the writer of a column has to explain in multiple message board posts the true point of his column, I would guess the column missed its mark.

    You would be wrong.

    This is "The Whitlock Game."
This is the best columnist in America.
This is the man who works all of his corners and raises his pimp hand to whomever needs it.
This is the man who is showing those bitter New Yorkers how to raise the hand to Herm but still maintain a good working relationshipo with him.

    Shut up putzie. :D

As much as I can't stomach the thought of a Pats-Colts AFC title game, it would be pretty funny, if that happened, to read the spin from Columbo.

Oh, well forgive me. I am not too familiar with the phrase "pimp hand" and I don't know much of the backstory of this columnist and the New York media. At first I thought it was a solid column -- no more, no less -- but now that he has explained the true intent of the piece, I think it was poorly constructed and missed its mark. I wouldn't offer that criticism unsolicited, but I figure since he posted the piece on a public message board seeking feedback, I should be honest.

Every one of these threads is a new trough for Whitlock. Feedback, indeed.

Here's what the spin would be: Home teams are now 6-2 in this year's playoffs, commensurate with the usual winning percentage in such circumstance.

    But thanks for playing.

Does Whitlock have a mug shot for celebratory columns and a mug shot for serious ones?

I understood the tone of the, uh, "LoJo" piece. I'm sure some of that was written as a cutesy throwdown for the buddies back home. Its existence just seems a little inconvenient now.

  12. the column wasn't difficult to understand. it's just you have a segment of this board population that loves to play the whitlock game. they try to twist what i write in an attempt to say, "i busted whitlock contradicting himself." some people, alma, play the game out in the open. others try to pretend they're just innocent observers and pounce once they think they see blood in the water.

honestly, the game is fun and keeps me on my toes.
