even a golf dolt such as myself understands he's 'still in' range of victory at 5 strokes back after twio days; my point was tigeer is not known as a 'come from behind' champ, but as a supreme unbeatable front-runner. so my question is: isnt there some sort of generally-known factoid about tiger NEVER winning a major when he trails after two days? or is it three days?

just want that clarified by you golf folk...as you said, i agree that regardless tiger could help his image by dq'ing himself...

At hole #15, I took a drop that I thought was correct and in accordance with the rules. I was unaware at that time I had violated any rules.

I didn’t know I had taken an incorrect drop prior to signing my scorecard. Subsequently, I met with the Masters Committee Saturday morning..

and was advised they had reviewed the incident prior to the completion of my round. Their initial determination...

was that there was no violation, but they had additional concerns based on my post-round interview. After discussing the situation...

...with them this morning, I was assessed a two-shot penalty. I understand and accept the penalty and respect the Committees’ decision.

No worries. It's three days. He's never won a major when he entered the final round not in the lead or tied for the lead. And he's lost one major when entering the final round either tied or outright in the lead.

First question: Then why did you drop 2 yards farther back from your previous lie?

Ignorance of the rules is not an excuse to overcome a DQ.

    Q. What happens when you turn an angry Tiger loose on a golf course?

If you wanna' water carry for an unethical, soulless lowlife you go right ahead. We already know it wouldn't be the first time.

If he DQs himself, he doesn't get paid for the week. No golfer is going to do that.

There isn't an athlete alive who isn't a) unethical b) a soulless lowlife or c) both.

You know anything about golf? ANYTHING? I suspect not.
Here's another thread you need to avoid so it doesn't get dumbed down.
