  1. I like Scott as well except for the putter and Stevie. I hate to see that prick tote a winning bag.

Though speaking of old Tiger caddies, Fluff didn't look so hot this weekend either hobbling around with Furyk's bag.

Interesting. However, Tiger even admits his drop wasn't "as close as the rule says."

I don't think he did anything malicious or intentionally broke the rules. Those photos certainly make it look closer. Hard to tell, though.

Maybe Wood was using Scott's putter to determine two club lengths???

On tour drivers tend to be close to the maximum allowable length of 48 inches. So two drivers would be 2-2/3rds yards.

This made me think- what if Woods had said that he had dropped within two club lengths instead of two yards back?
(I think there is a difference in which placement rule applied, and as close as possible was the rule, not within two club lengths.). I am not sure though.

Baker-Finch's line was better than Nantz's......

He'd still have been wrong, but he would have been perceived as less guilty. Saying he dropped two yards back rather than within two club-lengths came across as more conniving.

And the hokey schmaltz came from Faldo (IIRC) with the Wizard of Oz line...shocked it didn't spring from Nantz's mouth as soon as the putt fell.

Gone for the weekend. A couple of thoughts.

Every two-some should play like Cabrera and Snedeker played. Get the number, look and go.

No one should play like Jason Day played. Nice kid. Great talent. TAKES FOREVER. I counted several times he was over 40 seconds for a shot.

    Greg Norman won the masters?

No, that's the point. Norman fans would have been reminded yesterday of his various failures at Augusta.

I frankly forgot how Scott chocked the Open last year to Els (did he really win a Major); really nice to see Scott bounce back from adversity.
