    A 14 year-old shoots 73 at the Masters? Wow.

    I don't think he'd been born yet.

I worked for NBC Sports at a recent PGA tournament and asked announcer Dan Hicks (who also covers alpine skiing for NBC) is he was the one who set up Lindsey and Tiger. He got a good laugh out of that one and emphatically denied it.

How in the world does Fred Couples spend 51 weeks out of the year looking, talking and playing like an old geezer then suddenly show up in Augusta and act like he's 20 years younger? Not the first year, either. Amazing! (He's at 5-under as I type this.)

He does the same at Riviera. Courses for horses.

He lives for Augusta. Never know if the back will hold up for four rounds, but it's sure fun while it lasts.

And he's still got IT. He'll play in a couple weeks in a Champions Tour event in Savannah that I'm covering, and I'll make sure to follow him for a couple holes just for the talent in the gallery.

Not sure if previously discussed, but did anyone see Bubba's Champions menu? Grilled chicken with simple fixings. Very, very uninspired. Faldo has been all over him, tweeting with a hashtag #HappyMeal and saying on the air today that he was surprised it didn't come with a coloring book. For Masters TV, that was a pretty sharp quip.

Wonder what Fuzzy Zoeller would have to say about that menu?

Ain't nothing grilled in a Happy Meal. Now go change the diapers on the Queen.

ESPN's feature on that 14-year-old kid was pretty goo. The producer did a hell of a job following him from the airport and riding in the backseat on the way up Magnolia Lane.
