    As it should. The Solara is nothing more than a two-door Camry, and not one of Toyota's better efforts (neither is Nissan's hastily thrown-together counterpart, the Altima coupe). Comparing Toyota to BMWs is kinda like comparing the Podunk Press to a major metro ...

    Hey, I wrote the story in a previous thread of how this happened all on the same day. I wrote it on the thread where someone thanked sj members for helping them pick a car. I can't seem to find it, but I did put the story in there.

    Yeah, I know, I am one lucky SOB. :D

    I drive an Escape and put about 3,000 miles a month on it. I haven't had a problem with it (knock on wood), despite all the F(ound) O(n) R(oad) D(ead) business.

    in the last 27 years, i've had toyotas, hondas and fords. go toyota or honda. they're outstanding.

    fords suck. and i love america.

    BUT FORDS SUCK!!!!

    I have a Camry. The last one I owned had nearly 1.5 billion miles and I still fetched a pretty good price selling it private party.
