Really. No reason to single anyone out. It would be different if Muslim extremism had been a growing, worldwide problem for a couple of decades. This kind of stuff is pretty new. Still a lot to understand.

 

There are none to the latter. But that doesn't mean there are a bunch of positive aspects to radical Islam. Apples and oranges. The belief in hospitality and charity, to the extremists, extends only to those who will follow their warped view of their religion. Everyone else runs the risk of being beheaded.

And extended almost 10 years by two Republicans, who managed to ... wait for it ... LOSE THE GODDAMN WAR.

 

And originally started with "advisors" under a Republican president, and was continued because nobody could look "soft on Communism".

There was a little civil war going on in Greece. Yugoslavia begged Stalin to send help to the Communists. Stalin refused, saying "It's not in our sphere of influence." But amazingly, the U.S. decided this nation 5,000 miles away, and in a different hemisphere, was in its sphere of influence --- and so sent help, thus starting generations of senseless fear mongering, war starting, CIA coups, mujahideen helping and "with us or against us" shit that dogs us to this stay.
