Larry David Blasted for 'Curb' Episode Where He Urinates on Jesus Painting


Considering David never "urinates on Jesus painting", the headline contains a lie -- and is therefor outrageous.

 

Thought it was one of funnest episode of all time. The interaction between Larry and Jerry was hysterical.

"The Splash" was laugh out loud funny. If Jesus did not want us to splash he would have equipped us with longer appendages.

 

I also interpreted that headline as meaning that Larry whipped it out and whizzed right on the Jesus painting.

 

I didn't see the episode so I watched the clip. I laughed and laughed until 52 seconds into the clip. I am absolutely appalled. Larry left the bathroom without washing his hands further perpetuating the stereotype that Jews do not wash their hands. For this he must be punished!

 

OK, I didn't interpret it that way, but I saw the episode and knew how it happened. I wasn't offended by the episode and I wasn't offended by the headline, but after thinking about it I can understand how people could be offended by both.

 

Holy hell! The end of that clip is H-I-frikkin-larious!

 

Remember when they picked Chris Rock to host the Oscars, and Drudge splashed up that he used "fuck" 35 times in a minute?

Well, yeah, anyone who's watched a second of Chris Rock has heard him drop an F-bomb, asshole.

Same shit, same assholes, different target.

 

LD has made fun of Jews in every possible way: the high holiday tickets, the Orthodox girl jumping off the chairlift, the 'survivor', the dry cleaner lady in the hotel room with a hole in the sheet...I know I'm forgetting a few others.

The whole point of the show is to make fun of cultural quirks. Anyone who thinks he was peeing on Jesus as a sign of disrespect will probably find themselves in a future episode.

 

That's one stereotype about Jews I've never heard, and I thought I'd heard pretty much all of them.

 

Glad to see the Catholic League could take time out from supporting little-boy-buggery to weigh in on the major issues of the day.
