Funny, Big Chee, I remember watching that championship game and yelling. "Brett is reverting back into dumb Brett! Isn't it great?"

Seriously...he reallllllllyyyy clunked out that game. The chuck and heave throw to anyone willing to catch the ball as it landed was that old time, stuck on stupid Brett we didn't see most of last season until that game.

I'm NERVOUS....a common trait with us Jets fans.

You can place a bet in Las Vegas that the last pass Favre throws in the NFL will be an interception.

Unless I'm mistaken, I think his last pass in four of the five seasons has been a pick.

Tickets for Jets at Chargers game the third week of the season -- a Monday Night game -- are likely to be going for a bit more money now.

Close, but a more accurate statement would be to say he was picked off on his last pass in 3 of the last 4 Packers playoff seasons.

2001 - Yes (at Rams, NFC Divisional) ... one of six interceptions
2002 - Yes (vs. Falcons, NFC Wild Card) ... plus he was sacked and fumbled on the last real snap he took (Packers took a knee when they got the ball back in the closing seconds)
2003 - Yes (OT at Eagles, NFC Divisional)
2004 - No (Complete pass to Tony Fisher for 5 years with :23 left vs. Vikings, NFC Wild Card)
2005 - No (Incomplete pass to Tony Fisher with 3:30 left vs. Seahawks)
2006 - No (Complete pass to Ruvell Martin for 10 yards with 3:10 left at Bears)
2007 - Yes (OT vs. Giants, NFC Championship)

Either way, that's a pretty amazing number. It's not like they were down late and he was chucking it around in garbage time. Two times it was OT! Yeesh.

Packers lost 45-17 to the Rams and 27-7 to the Falcons ... so yeah they were down late.

Agreed. It's time for Viking defenders to salivate over INTs thrown by Mr. Rodgers.

You mean like they did last year?

Though the stage wasn't the same, that Eagles interception was a much worse decision than last year's Giants pick.

Agreed, but the Eagles pick was overshadowed by 4th and 26 so the Giants pick will be better remembered.

That's the way many Packers fans reconciled it. As bad as 4th-and-26 was, I thought Favre's beach ball throw was just as bad if not worse.
