I am convinced McCarver makes Buck appreciably harder to tolerate, and vice versa.

Buck is vanilla, and I'm fairly ambivalent toward him, which makes him perfect for a national gig. But, boy, could he use just a teaspoon of Gus Johnson in him (ew?). The way he droned through Tyree's catch in the Super Bowl made it sound like a swing pass out of the backfield for a 4-yard gain on first down rather than one of the most memorable plays in Super Bowl history.

And McCarver is now, has always been and always will be insufferable.

Buck doesn't give a crap about baseball.

Yup. It's obvious in his voice. He's a little better with football as he seems to care a little more, but still not very good on that either.

Joe Buck cares about one thing and one thing only: crushing POONTANG!
