    WCBS Radio in New York attributed "done deal" to this to NYDN, this morning, before
    11 AM. If it's wrong, the egg servings will be massive.

    Look. There's no excuse for Tito's failure this season. None. He has to go. I would fire a manager every time he didn't make the playoffs if I ran the Red Sox.

    Hmmmm. So managers have little impact on the number of wins a team has but they should be fired if they don't win enough games to get into the playoffs every season. Do I have that right?

    They have little impact. They don't have zero impact. The Red Sox missed the playoffs by one game.

    You're right, Francona should have thrown better pitches to Reimold and Andino.

    Really, though, I shouldn't feed the troll. I normally don't. I usually know better.
