Friday Night Lights - NBC run

Not until Jan or Feb or whenever it debuted this past year, I believe.

 

Actually it will be on DirecTV 101 first

 

I just got done watching the one episode I missed last season, the one where JD's dad beat on him. Even watching on the web the show was great - that scene between Tyra and her mom telling her as she always "surprises" her - it made me realize that the way the show is shot and acted I often feel like I'm intruding on a personal moment between the characters and shouldn't be watching. Yet I will continue to do so if with a dash of guilt.

 

I need to get back on the train for this show. Watched about half of season one when it came on NBC but my schedule got busy those nights and missed the rest. Never did catch it online.

 

I know this is kind of an weird thread "bump" but anyone know what happened to the coach of Dillon who left, opening up the job for Coach Taylor during season 1? I'm surprised they haven't brought that guy back as a character. Also wouldn't mind seeing the coach who Taylor replaced after bailing out of the college job come back.

One of the returning characters is glad they're writing "towards and ending". I figured this would happen sooner rather than later, but I'm still bummed.
