Something tells me that's not it, especially with all the focus on Landry's watch.

I do hope they're done with it, though.

Well, yeah, I'd imagine Dad will figure it out, and that's probably a one-episode storyline. Just as long as he doesn't make Landry turn himself in or something.

The coming attractions show Landry's Dad telling Tyra to stay away from his son.

If I were Landry, given Tyra's hotness, experience and enthusiasms, I would live with her in van down by the river if I had to, but Dad, F*&^ You!!

Ah. Didn't see those. Dad's no dummy (remember his turn as the good secret service agent on 24?).

    another last-second win? ugh

and doesn't look like the dead dude thing is going away anytime soon

and seriously, why make landry the primary target on the last play?

i did like taylor getting landry's name wrong every time

At least they did it in a non-obvious way (avoiding having Landry catch the game-winner).

And I missed a couple of minutes -- did they ever address the Panthers' star fullback being AWOL? From the previews it looks like he gets his comeuppance next week, but how could they ignore a key player just skipping town?

arnold, taylor mentions he has no idea where his fullback is

  10. I loved Saracen growing a set at the end and telling Julie off. That was a shocking moment. Great stuff.
Does the show have some flaws? Yeah ... but it's still a top-notch program with some great acting.

You have to feel badly for Landry. He gives the great halftime speech, inspires the team, makes the key play on defense and sets up the game-winning run with his gutty route over the middle to draw the flag...then gets dumped hard by his hot girlfriend for a magnanimous reason, although he may never find out why. Teen angst at its best.

One has to hope he winds up getting the girl in the end.

And speaking of kissing, God-squadder Lyla seems to be going for it with both of her former lovers. Methinks she's going to end up in a nunnery some day if this keeps up. Bad boy Riggins vs. paraplegic 6...tough decision for the fetching lass.
