I was not very into this weeks episode for some reason..... But the Wife, Coach parts always rock but they have taken the murder to a whole new level and now with Riggins and this guy making drugs in his back yard..... FNL adds another pointless story line.

But I did believe the journo teacher was going to say he was gay to get out of the wrath Connie put on him.

I totally bought the meth lab.

And as an aside: If I were in charge, it'd be legal to beat the crap out of any meth-head with an aluminum baseball bat, at any time. At least so says the guy who wasted 10 minutes at the drug store trying to buy some fucking cold medicine. It's easier to buy a bottle of whiskey. Maybe that's my lesson.

Yeah, blah. I really wish they hadn't gone there with Saracen and the health aide. And it looks like next week's all about Landry, again. At this point it kind of feels like Coach and wife are carrying the show. But that scene with Smash was about the funniest thing all season.

I really like Saracen and the health aide. A rite of passage. :)

    Me, too.

If they wrap up the Landry murder plot next week, we'll be cruising.

But since the strike looks like it's going to kill this show in its crib, I'm just enjoying it while it's here.

The stuff between Eric and Tami was just great. Her reaction when he said she needed to pay more attention to their family was wonderful. As was their make-up when he hugged her and said, "I like you. You're alright."

Saracen had the best line of the ep, deadpanning to Smash, "Was it Cabo in your pants?"

I liked Tim's apologies to the team too.

Jason's disappearance bothers me a bit.

Some of the Landry stuff, I thought, was ok. We sort of abandoned the Christian aspect of who Landry was for close to a season.

Thought for sure when the defense was sucking balls we might see Santiago move over to the defensive side of the ball, but it's clear that football matters almost not at all this season.

I laughed for about a minute on that one.

Umm, four-six. I'm pretty sure I've never seen you at an actual game. And I probably never will.

But the intensity you bring to practice is... Undeniable?

    Thanks, Rigg.

Didn't Street tell Coach Taylor an episode or two ago that he didn't want to be part of the football team any more?

But didn't Taylor tell "Six" to get the drills going this past episode when Riggins was talking/apologizing his way back onto the team?

And how is Riggins still in school with all of the time he has missed in Mexico, hunting with the meth maker, etc?

Where does Riggins move to now?

The only good thing about the murder case is it brings the best couple on the show back together again.

I thought Riggins and MethMan were going to go brokeback there in the hunting stand. I could have sworn that was Smash doing his best Tracy Morgan impression giving Saracin tips on breaking up with a girl, good stuff. I wish they explained what happened to Julie's teacher, Street, et. al. There are a lot of strings left hanging.

Tonight, for the first time, I realized what I love so much about this show.

Street's in the car with that girl, and he still is as cocky as the day the show started.
Saracen is talking to the maid, and he's still as naive as the day the show started.
Coach is grabbing the sleeping bag, and he's still as earnest as the day the show started.

Sure, the circustances have changed, and everyone has had their life flipped upside down, but unlike some e shows, these guys haven't lost what makes them, well, them

Great, great, great, great episode. Julie/Tami were phenonal,; how about when Tami's talking to Julie and can't look her in the eye? Great scene.

    I love this show.
