  2. Thanks. I didn't want to have Chris Hansen telling me to have a seat.

Hey, I'm not going to spoil anything for you here, so won't get into specifics...but the 'scenes from next episode' segment of the show revealed such a key moment that it reminded me why I vowed to avoid 'scenes' in the first place.

    Godamn I love this show.
Sure it has some cheese to it, but it's in a crappy timeslot and it's looking to latch an audience.
But the characters are just so damn great that I care about almost all of them, and it all starts with the Taylors. Kyle Chandler is one of the top 5 actors on network TV right now. Loved the storyline with Riggins and Taylors budding relationship. I didn't see scenes for next week, but I'm hoping fences are mended really quickly because I'm tired of Riggins getting the short end of the stick.

I still miss the topic of actual high school football. That is what drew me to the show in the first place and they have almost completely cut it out.

I really thought I'd miss that myself. And I don't. In the least. The storylines hold up just fine for me without it.

    Agreed.
Anyone else wondering if Riggins is gonna totally snap at some point? He ALWAYS gets screwed (in the bad way, I mean.)

I checked out "The Kingdom" over the weekend and noticed Peter Berg cast Kyle Chandler and Minka Kelly in smaller roles. I won't spoil anything for you.
I was surprised it received such tepid reviews. Apparently the critics were expecting a "think piece" on Saudi Arabia and were disappointed by the action sequences. But if you view it only as an action movie, its definitely a cut above the usual Steven Segal/Michael Bay dreck. And I actually learned something about Saudi Arabian history.

Tyra pretty much IS sex. Good lord. Not sure how much Landry is supposed to take, but to be honest, I'd take a lot.

Does any show on TV have such amazingly hot women across the board? There are scenes at the Taylor house where you have Connie Britton, Jessalyn Gilsig (who I fell in love with on "Boston Public") and Aimee Teegarden. Not that any of us would be put in the position, but how would you possibly choose in that scenario?

Hot women, football is back next week, great story line and did I say hot women???? I just wish the show was on FX to spice it up a bit lol.

  12. I too am sick of seeing Rig get screwed. But, it annoys me to no end that he won't take the time or put in the effort to explain himself. The whole thing with Street and getting back on the team, he never explained his absence. I realize Taylor didn't give him much of a chance to explain what happened with Julie, but he could have been a lot more forceful about it. It just sucks because it's always one step forward and two steps back with him.
