I could see him going back to the druggie he was staying with, just for a place to stay at first, then for the drugs.

I don't enjoy Riggins being screwed at every turn, but it's so true to life. I almost empathize with the guy. Each of the characters is a composite made of very real people. They say very real things, and real stuff happens to them. That's what makes the show so wonderful.

But the writers have been slipping this year. I'll give you an example that I find preposterous. Small town. Some guy is found dead in a creek. The police investigate. A guy admits to the crime. The public knows nothing, apparently. Maybe I missed it. But it seems like the police department just swept it under the rug. That wouldn't happen. They'd be required to report. Sure, I know the high school football team is the focus of the local media. But they'd surely be all over an apparent murder case.

There are many other examples. I make an effort to ignore the inconsistences, but a few of them get stuck in my brain and annoy me to no end.

And why can't that team practice on its own field? Did the tornado destroy the field? Did it lift the earth? It seems a stretch to presume that they can't practice on their own field. All they need is a long stretch of flat ground. Can't be that tough to find in Texas.

One thing I really enjoyed in that episode was Landry in the cafeteria ... he somewhat tripped over some lines like he was nervous, which is true to life in that situation. He didn't land perfect lines, he stuttered a bit ... and with a football team of dudes ready to pound his ass, that's real.

My favorite part was the conversation between Landry and Tyra at the dance. Also, I liked where Buddy and his finance manager did the nasty with the Russian foreign exchange students in that old abandoned warehouse.

As long as we're killing kittens for Connie, Aimee, Minka and Adrianne, lets sacrifice a few for QB1's luscious Daniella.

When 7's lady friend is the odd name out, you know you got a cast.

I really liked Tyra's dress at the dance. Didn't catch much of their conversation, though.

I agree with the media lack of coverage regarding the murder and I would also like to see more of the media at the games, practices etc.

I would think the local paper would have a beat reporter attached to the team.

Also what ever happend to the mexican boy that Buddy adopted?? I would have thought he would have been a big part in the fight with the other school.

I still think they fired the writer who said...

"I know this show is perfect, but why don't we focus most of the second season around Matt's dorky friend..."

All the women on the show are super-hot, but whenever I see Trya, I wanna play Whack-A-Mole on her face! :D

    So ... many ... jokes ...

But I'm going to go with, "She definitely inspires me to whack something, all right!"
